Just when we thought we had recovered from the big update that brought us Kilowatt case, skin for Zeus, and much more, Valve has released another update that many players have been waiting for.
Today, we’ll be taking a deep dive into the update, delving into even the aspects that Valve left unmentioned in their blog post and showing off some cool new features that will be useful in many situations.
In article you will find:
Valve has added many minor and small details that you might not notice, but we have gathered the most interesting things for you that can be not only interesting for you but also very useful, so we suggest taking a look at what Valve has added to the new update.
A highly anticipated feature has finally arrived: swapping weapons between the left and right hand! Many players have been eagerly awaiting this feature, as many are accustomed to playing with their left hand, while others simply switch hands between left and right out of habit, even without reason, just for the fun of it.
Similar to how you might twirl a knife or examine a pistol, changing hands can also serve as a small fun for some.
However, it’s worth noting that many players have pointed out that it’s more convenient for them to check positions with a weapon in the left hand, as it looks visually different, and you can see more details when checking, for example, the right side.

“ Added “Switch Viewmodel Left/Right Hand” key binding (default: US keyboard letter H) to switch hands temporarily during gameplay.“
As you can see, you only need to press “H,” and the hand will change. You can also assign this function to any key that is convenient for you.
Another pleasant bonus in this update is the addition of a special crosshair that activates after holding a grenade for more than three seconds. This will help you better aim at the place you want to throw it, as many players play with different crosshairs, so the new grenade throwing crosshair will be very useful.
Radar is a very, very important thing that is ignored by thousands of low-rank players, but millions, especially professional players, know how important it really is. And today Valve has added an incredibly useful feature that will help you not to miss any enemies and always see what is happening on the map.
“Added “Radar Map Alternate Zoom” setting and “Toggle Radar Zoom” key binding to toggle between zoom levels during gameplay.”
This is a very, very important feature that will help many people play better.
In addition to the Zeus rework, Valve has also brought back CZ75-Auto in this update. This change was made because the previous reward of $100 per kill made it an unappealing choice, especially during pistol rounds.
Even in the mid-game, players often opted for Deagle instead due to its superior firepower and the fact that enemies already have armor. However, Valve has now increased CZ75-Auto’s reward to $300 per kill.
It means that a single kill will recoup 60% of the weapon’s cost, making it a much more attractive option. We hope to see CZ75-Auto make a comeback on the pro scene and witness some exciting plays with this pistol.
As for Zeus, you can now earn money for kills with this taser. The amount is admittedly small at $100, but it’s justified considering that it now starts to recharge after each use.
Another notable change is the narrowing of the weapon’s firing angle. To hit an enemy, you must aim directly at their body.

Everyone is already accustomed to the buy menu, and it is quite convenient and informative, but the developers have made a very pleasant upgrade to this menu for us. Now, in the upper right corner, you can see the amount of money that you can get for the next round.
This is now very useful because you can better calculate the funds that you will have to buy this or that weapon. At the bottom, you will find a new panel, “Dropped Weapons”, where you can see (and directly pick up) any weapon that you or your teammates have dropped in the purchase zone.
This is a very pleasant bonus that will make the game easier and better.
